Christine Freeman

Christine Freeman graduated with a B.A. in English and B.F.A. Honours from Queen’s University in Kingston, and went on to complet her B.Ed at Western University the following year. After graduation, she decided to embark on a great adventure far from home, and took on a teaching job at a private school just outside Jakarta, Indonesia where she stayed for ten years.

True to her training, she has taught both English and Visual Arts to Grade 11 & 12 students in the IB Diploma Programme. She also taught an introductory Epistemology course called the Theory of Knowledge. While living overseas, she enjoyed traveling to nearly 20 different countries and learning all she could about the different cultures she encountered.

Ms. Freeman considers herself to be a quiet and reflective introvert who simply loves getting to know her students and challenging them to grow!
