George Brown College of Applied Arts and Technology is a public college with three full campuses in downtown Toronto offering a great learning environment and facilities including sports facilities, a center for performing arts, libraries and a school-owned newspaper.

Offering 25 diploma programs, 31 advanced diploma programs and 8 degree programs GBC is well-regarded as one of Canada’s top 5 colleges.  Its degree programs include:

Amongst its additional programs, GBC offers 10 apprentice programs and 5 pre-apprentice programs, as well as 28 graduate certificate programs.

More than 60,000 students span the college’s full-time, part-time, distance learning and continuing education courses each year. More recently, GBC has begun offering specialized programs and services for immigrants and international students.

Admission requirements differ for each program, but the minimum requirement for any post-secondary program is an Ontario high school diploma such as the one offered by Sophio.
